WELCOME TO EALING UNITED FC

We are Ealing United Football Club.

Based in central Ealing, we provide high quality coaching and competitive football for boys and girls from U7 to U16. We are affiliated to the Middlesex FA, playing in both the Middlesex Youth Football League and Harrow Youth Football League.

We welcome players for trials in our older age groups, while new players are invited to attend a free 'taster' session with our younger teams. We also run mid-week skill development sessions and 'training only' options, which are a great starting point for anyone new to the game.

We've had another successful season in 2023/24, with over 170 players representing our club. We're incredibly proud of our players, who are all enthusiastic, respectful and aspirational footballers. They continue to represent the club with pride. Some league and tournament victories along the way helped too!

Thank You Team Managers

As is the case at the end of every season, we say goodbye to a number of players, however we also wish farewell to some of our team managers too.

The team manager role is a vital part of our club, with each manager setting aside time each week to help coach and manage a team. It's a hugely rewarding experience for those involved, though one shouldn't underestimate the desire and commitment required to be successful in the role.

As the 2023/24 season draws to a close, we say thanks to the following managers who are moving on:

  • Ed (U7)

  • Cedric (U8)

  • Nic (U9)

  • Cliff (U11 Red)

We wish you all the very best moving forward. Thanks for being part of the Ealing United community.

U14 - Wealdstone Trophy Winners

There was success for our U14 squad this past weekend, taking out the plate competition of the Wealdstone Youth tournament.

Undefeated throughout the group stage, the team were on track to top their group before a serious injury to one of the boys meant their last group game was abandoned. The boys didn't let the incident get to them, taking it upon themselves to ensure they came away with a trophy for their injured teammate. And they did just that...

A comprehensive 3-0 win in their semi-final was followed by a thumping 7-0 win in the final. Terrific stuff to finish off what had been a tough day. Wishing James all the best for a speedy recovery

Big thanks to @wealdstoneyouth_fc for hosting a terrific tournament

U11 White - Osterley Rangers Tournament

U11 White were our representatives at the Osterley Rangers Tournament in early July. They arrived full of confidence and played some terrific football to win all four of their group games and top their group with 12 points.

The semi-finals proved a tougher affair, but they came up with the goods to win a closely fought match 2-1. Playing in their first ever final as a team, the boys dominated but couldn't find a way through a stubborn Junior Bees defence, meaning the match ended 0-0.

So penalties it was.

Unfortunately they couldn't quite get over the line, losing the penalty shootout to finish runners-up. They should still be incredibly proud of themselves on what has been a terrific season.

Manager of the Season - Ashley (U13W)

Manager of the Season for the 2023/24 season is Ashley, our U13 White manager. What started as an excuse to get more involved in his sons' sports, quickly became a real passion, evident from Ashley's desire to help the team progress.

Ashley wasn't put off by a tough start to the season, instead helping to galvanise the team, giving the players confidence and driving them to never give up!

We can't thank Ashley and all our other team managers enough. They do so much for the club, to make it the success that it is today.

U13 Red - Gunnersbury Cup Trophy Winners

The U13 Red team had the good weather on their side for the Gunnersbury Cup tournament and started the group stage with a solid draw. This was followed by a win against their old rivals (and last year’s Cup winners), The Eight, before a couple of narrow losses put them in third position in the group and into the Trophy QFs.

Drawn against Hearts of Teddlothian Spitfires, they went behind, but battled back brilliantly, with goals from Harry and Alex ensuring they finished extra time at 2-2. 3 out of 3 penalties scored (Joachim, Caeden and Oscar) saw them through. The semi-finals had them playing The Eight again, controlling the game throughout but going behind. Their dominance paid off in the end as a late goal took it to extra time and then penalties. After Luke saved a penalty, Oscar drove home the decisive spot kick and they were in the Trophy Final.

The final was a nervy affair against FC Starz, but once they'd gone into an early lead via a goal from Harry, they managed to close out the game superbly and holding firm for a 1-0 win.

U12 - HYFL Division 6 Champions

Our U12 team had a remarkable season, showcasing their offensive prowess by scoring an impressive 150 goals and conceding only 6. This prolific scoring helped the team dominate their league, finishing top of the table and going unbeaten in the league. Top scorer was Adriel with 45 goals!

Throughout the season, the U12 squad demonstrated not only their scoring ability but also their cohesive team play and sportsmanship. Their success on the pitch is a reflection of the club's commitment to developing young talent and fostering a positive, inclusive environment.

As they look forward to the next season, the U12 team aims to build on their incredible success. Parents and players are proud of their achievements and have high hopes for the 24/25 season.
